Seatrium has signed a contract with Dutch engineering firm Iv-Offshore & Energy for the design of TenneT’s IJmuiden Ver Beta platform.
IJmuiden Ver Beta platform is the first in a series of 2GW platforms that the GE-Seatrium (GSC) consortium will supply for TenneT.

Iv will be responsible for the detailed engineering of the offshore converter platform, which is the largest of its kind at present, for both the topside and the jacket.
It is also responsible for the delivery of equipment and auxiliary systems.
The IJmuiden Ver Beta platform will be installed approximately 62 km off the Dutch coast.
