EDF Renewables and Fred Olsen Renewables have completed a fresh scoping report for their Codling offshore wind farm off the east coast of Ireland.
The partners said the document outlines how they will take forward development of an environmental impact assessment.
The blueprint also is aimed at engaging regulators, consultees and stakeholders.
It has been sent to some 78 consultees, the companies said.
A similar scoping report for the onshore elements of the project is also being developed and will be finalised in the coming months.
EDF, which bought into the project last year, and Fred Olsen are aiming to build the project this decade.
It has been identified as one of the country’s so-called ‘relevant projects’, which means it can accelerate consenting via a proposed new planning regime.
The government has pledged a first offshore-only auction later this year.
