RWE Innogy has contracted Emden-based EMS Maritime Offshore (EMO) for the supply of nautical and logistical personnel, maritime consulting, audits and surveys for the 295MW Nordsee Ost wind farm in the German North Sea.
Under this framework contract, EMO has already supplied IMCA audits, client representatives and consulting services.
A team of six nautical officers has taken over 24/7 marine coordination for all vessel activities at the project site north of Heligoland. The contract ends at the end of next year.
RWE Innogy officially inaugurated the wind farm in May 2015.
