Consultancy Con4Mare is to provide marine warranty services for Dong Energy’s 450MW Borkum Riffgrund 2 offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
The scope of work includes load out of the 56 MHI Vestas V164 8MW turbines and 36 monopiles and transition pieces, as well as transport and installation.
The project, which also has 20 suction bucket jacket foundations, is located about 34km north of the island of Borkum.
It is expected to be fully commissioned in 2019.
