The jacket that will support the electric substation of the 500MW Fécamp offshore wind farm has arrived at the Port of Cherbourg.
The jacket is 60 metre high and weighs 1,200 tonnes.

It was towed on the Stralsund barge which itself is 90 metres long and 32 metres wide.
It will be installed at the Quai des Mielles for about a month, where it will be subject to various inspections and checks, before being transferred and placed at sea off Fécamp.
