Siemens Gamesa’s turbine factory in Cuxhaven, Germany, has produced the first nacelles for the 882MW Moray West offshore wind project off Scotland.
The plant has completed the first of the components for the wind farm’s 60 14MW machines.

They are already awaiting shipment and installation at the site and will join the B108 blades shipped earlier this week from Hull.
The Siemens Gamesa hardware will be hosted on XXL monopiles.
