FoundOcean has been contracted by Seaway Heavy Lifting to connect monopile and transition pieces at the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farm, which will be located 20 miles off the coast of Norfolk.
The company in collaboration with BASF will start grouting the foundations in the spring.
FoundOcean said it will utilise BASF’s MasterFlow 9500 material to provide long-term durability for the wind farm’s foundations.
The £1.5bn Dudgeon project is being developed by Norway-based Statoil.
