French transmission system operator RTE is seeking companies to carry out unexploded ordnance survey work on the export cable routes of the 497MW Fecamp and 450MW Courseulles-sur-Mer offshore wind farms.
A tender divided into two lots has been issued covering the investigation and identification with remotely operated vehicles and/or divers to confirm all the potential UXO along the proposed submarine cable routes.
The contract in lot one for Fecamp would run from 15 March next year until 30 November of the same year.
The contract in lot two for Courseulles-sur-Mer would also start on 15 March but end on 31 August 2021.
Interested parties have until 5pm local time on 16 October to apply.
The EMF consortium of EDF Renewables, Enbridge and WPD is developing both the wind farms.
