Fugro Geoservices has named Ross Stevens as managing director of its UK business.
Stevens has extensive experience in managing global marine site investigations in oil and gas and the renewables markets, the seabed survey and marine drilling outfit said.
He joined Fugro Seacore in 2007 and was a director at the unit when it was integrated into Fugro Geoservices last October.
The chartered civil engineer will replace Marcus Rampley, who has had a 37-year-long career in geotechnics.
“To be taking on the position of MD is a great honour, especially at a time when Fugro is playing such a key role in site characterization for the UK’s new nuclear program and high speed rail network and supporting infrastructure projects around Europe,” Stevens said.
