Fugro is to carry out geotechnical investigations at potential offshore wind development areas in the German North and Baltic Seas for Germany’s Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency.
The total value of the contract is €25m, with the scope of the work divided into three lots.

Lots one and two cover work in the North Sea and Baltic Sea this year, respectively, while the third one is for work in the North Sea between 2020 and 2022.
Fugro’s work will include drilling, such as core sampling and exploration, pressure probing and borehole geophysics, as well as laboratory investigations.
