Fugro’s Quest vessel (pictured) has left Falmouth, UK to start geotechnical survey work on the site of the proposed Dogger Bank South (DBS) West, one of two proposed offshore wind farms at the site in England’s North Sea.
Over the course of the coming months, Fugro be collecting crucial geo-data to support RWE and Masdar with the site design and development for up to 100 turbines.

Earlier this month a DCO application for 3GW Dogger Bank South wind farm was accepted for examination by the UK Planning Inspectorate.
The site off the coast of north-east England is being developed in two phases (DBS East and DBS West) of up to 100 turbines each by RWE and Masdar.
