Chinese developer Fujian Zhongmin Offshore Wind Power Company has issued a new tender for turbines for the up to 250MW second phase of the Putian Pinghai Bay offshore wind farm in China.
The tender document says the project, which will be located about 12km from Pinghai Town, will consist of no more than 50 turbines with a minimum capacity of 5MW.
The tender is for 20 sets of turbines with individual capacity no less than 5MW.
The first turbines and accessories should be delivered before 10 November 2017, with the remainder delivered before 31 July the following year.
The deadline for submitting a bid is 8 March.
The company also issued a tender for 20 turbines for the project in December.
The 50MW first phase of the offshore wind farm started operating in the summer, featuring XE/DD128 hardware from local manufacturer XEMC Windpower.
A further 600MW phase is also planned.
