GE Renewable Energy business unit LM Wind Power has completed the acquisition of WMC test facilities at Wieringerwerf in the Netherlands.
The facility will provide rotor hub testing for new GE turbines, as well as blade and other testing, digital tools and research to the wider wind industry.
LM Wind Power said it plans to expand and develop the facility over time.
The deal also includes all 23 current staff at WMC.
