German law firm Blanke Meier Evers advised the developers of the 396MW Merkur offshore wind farm on the turbine contracts for the project, which will be located in the North Sea.
The €1.6bn wind farm is being developed by Partners Group, InfraRed Capital Partners, DEME Concessions Wind, GE Energy Financial Services and L’Agence de l’environnement et de la maîtrise de l’énergie.
The project reached financial close last week and will feature 66 GE 6MW Haliade turbines.
Blanke Meier Evers advised on the drafting, negotiation and conclusion of the turbine supply agreement and the service and maintenance deal with GE Renewable Germany.
The law firm is based Bremen and has 27 lawyers.
