Global Maritime has concluded its latest work scopes on Cobra Group’s 50MW Kincardine floating offshore wind farm off Scotland.
The scope included providing marine warranty services for the transport and installation of the turbines, floating foundations and subsea infrastructure.
Global Maritime said: “Our involvement in the project started early with document review: early engagement feasibility studies, T&I documentation, design basis and port and logistic information.”
It was also involved in vessel suitability surveys and approval of equipment.
The project was run from the company’s UK offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow and London.
Global Maritime chief executive Jonny Logan said: “We are extremely proud of our involvement in the Kincardine project.
“Being able to provide local support and content through our Scottish offices is important to us and, we wish the Kincardine project continued success.”
Kincardine managing director for Cobra Jaime Altolaguirre said: “We would like to thank Global Maritime for their support to our project.
“We were pleased to be able to utilise Global Maritime’s expertise through their locally based team in Aberdeen.”
