China-headquartered wind turbine supplier Goldwind has launched an 8MW prototype.
The turbine was unveiled in Fujian, in China.

Following its completion of testing and certification, the 8MW machine will undergo a two-month drivetrain test at Goldwind’s test facility in Fujian.
Goldwind said the turbine will then be installed at the Xinghua Bay Project Phase 2 by the end of this year.
