ONP Management has provided support to the project company developing the DEME-led consortium’s 396MW Merkur offshore wind farm in the German North Sea.
ONP’s main tasks included handling design changes, negotiating and finalising contracts for balance of plant and wind turbines and developing a detailed project plan.
The €1.6bn project reached financial close last month.
ONP said in a statement: “Several major tasks had to be tackled successfully since ONP’s assignment in early 2015.
“After re-structuring the project team and seconding experienced offshore wind experts, a re-arrangement of the group of investors and developers took place.”
Merkur offshore wind project director Arjen Schampers said: “We are looking forward to continuing the excellent cooperation with ONP Management in the further development of Merkur offshore”, he added.
Hamburg-based ONP is part of the Zech Group and delivers technical advisory and consulting services for offshore wind projects.
