Royal HaskoningDHV has completed environmental assessments and provided consultancy services for ScottishPower Renewables during the consent process for the 1.2GW East Anglia 3 wind farm off the UK’s Suffolk coast.
Royal HaskoningDHV deployed up to 60 staff to draft the environmental statement and related reports, carry out technical impact assessments, support consultation with regulators and stakeholders, and work with engineering teams to refine the project design.
The proposed East Anglia 3 wind farm, which received planning consent on Monday, will feature up to 172 turbines and is expected to start construction in 2022.
Royal HaskoningDHV project director Alistair Davison said: “We are delighted to have been part of the SPR team developing and delivering a high quality and robust EIA and DCO application. We look forward to supporting SPR in the future as the project moves towards construction.”
