Norwegian offshore transport services provider Havfram has signed a contract to construct an undisclosed major offshore project in Europe.
The project will be executed in 2029, using Havfram’s GustoMSC NG-20000X installation vessels.
The vessels are under construction and slated for delivery in the second half of this year.
The installation work is anticipated to span approximately one year.
Havfram has now secured contacts for transport and installation support of turbines for eight large-scale offshore wind projects across Europe between 2026 and 2030, the company said.
The company also announced what it called a “substantial increase” in the credit capacity of its Green Export Credit Agency (ECA) term loan facility, established in late 2023.
The credit facility is backed by a syndicate of financial institutions led by DNB Bank ASA, with support from SpareBank 1 Sør Norge (SR Bank), Credit Agricole, Sparebanken Vest, and Rabobank.
Export Finance Norway is the ECA lender.
KfW IPEX Bank joined the syndicate in January 2025.
