Havfram has signed another Vessel Reservation Agreement with an undisclosed client for the transport and installation of next-generation wind turbines.
The project will be executed with one of the Norwegian outfit’s newbuild Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV) (artist’s impression above) currently under construction and due to be delivered in 2025.
Installation activities are expected to commence during the first quarter of 2029, with the project carrying on into 2030.
Vice president of offshore wind at Havfram Martin Degen said: “We are thrilled about this agreement which further strengthens our contract backlog.
“We expect to commence installation activities during the first quarter of 2029 and for the project to carry on into 2030.
“Havfram will deliver its services with utmost attention to detail using one of our newbuild state-of-the-art WTIV which will be delivered in 2025.”
