Danish offshore wind engineering and consulting company Head Energy Group has created a new entity in Hamburg to support its expanding offshore wind business.
The company, which currently has a presence in Norway, Denmark and Poland, has obtained an AU license for Head Energy Germany in accordance with German legislation.
The new office will be administered by the group’s Danish offshore experts in Esbjerg, and Soren Ronnow Poulsen, Head Energy’s sales and business development manager, is the initial point of contact in Hamburg.
The company said it “has already delivered consultants to an ongoing German project in the North Sea”.
Head Energy Group operates across three business areas: oil and gas, renewables and civil engineering and has offices in Bergen, Stavanger, Oslo, Esbjerg, and Krakow.
