Vattenfall has achieved first power from its over 406MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm off the west coast of Denmark.
The first of the MHI Vestas V164 turbines started generating electricity on 23 December, a Vattenfall spokesman said.

The project will comprise 49 machines each with individual output of 8.3MW.
It is scheduled to be fully operational next year.
