Energinet.dk has completed installation of onshore cabling for Vattenfall’s 400MW Horns Rev 3 offshore wind farm in Denmark.
The transmission company said the last of three Prysmian-supplied 220kV wires has been pulled into place between Endrup and Blabjerg is south Jutland.
Work to build offshore infrastructure including cables and a substation kicks off next year.
The Dkr1.5bn grid link is due to be completed before the end of 2016.
Vattenfall is expected to bring the wind farm online before the end of the decade.
