The Port of Ijmuiden has completed two floating pontoons that include six berths for Windcat Workboats’ crew transfer vessels.
The pontoons have a total length of 46 metres to offer berths and include a wave protection barrier providing access via two moving walkways.
Windcat Workboats transports personnel and material from the dedicated boat landings in the IJmond harbour to offshore wind farms off the coast of IJmuiden.
The work was carried out by de Boer & de Groot Civil Works from Harlingen on behalf of the Port of IJmuiden.
