Taylor Hopkinson has been awarded a quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) surveillance contract for the 1100MW Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm project in Scotland.
Inch Cape, which is being jointly developed by Red Rock Renewables and ESB, is located 15 km off the Angus coast in the North Sea.
The wind farm will consist of 72 offshore wind turbines and is aiming to be fully operational in 2027, with an operational life of over 25 years.
Taylor Hopkinson and Brunel’s global presence spans all of the key fabrication yard locations for the project.
Taylor Hopkinson has supplied engineering, consenting and development specialists on the project since 2017 and will continue to do so throughout its current phase of works, including manufacturing, construction, offshore installation and commissioning.
