COSCO Shipping Shipyard has delivered Jan de Nul’s new jackup, Voltaire, with the vessel leaving China on route for Dubai.
Voltaire has a crane capacity of 3000 tonnes, four legs of 130 metres, and ability to lift 16,000 tonnes of cargo out of the water.

Its innovative design makes the vessel highly suitable for the installation of next-generation wind farms.
Voltaire’s first assignment will be used to perform work at the UK’s Dogger Bank offshore wind project.
