Energinet.dk and 50Hertz Transmission have issued a tender for an unexploded ordnance consultancy and desktop study for the cable route between the 600MW Kriegers Flak and 288MW Baltic 2 offshore wind farms.
The Danish and German transmission operators are planning a 25km HVAC cable between the offshore substations at the two wind farms.
The tender calls for a UXO desktop study for the planned construction area along the cable route.
It also requests consultancy services to supervise the survey contractor to ensure the cable route UXO risk level is mitigated as low as reasonable practicable and in line with all national UXO standards.
The tender is open until 31 May.
