South Korean manufacturer LS Cable is to supply 66kV wire for Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ Changfang and Xidao offshore wind farms in Taiwan.
Under the $94.7m deal, LS Cable will supply the array wire by May 2023.

The contract with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners includes a five-year maintenance period.
The 100MW Changfang 1 is due online in 2021 to be followed by the 452MW second phase in 2023.
The 48MW Xidao are slated for delivery in 2024.
MHI Vestas is the preferred supplier for turbines for the projects.
