Manor Renewable Energy (MRE) has signed a contract with GE Wind France to provide the full temporary power scope during the construction phase of the 480MW Saint Nazaire offshore wind farm.
The project marks MRE’s first in France, following over 20 projects throughout Europe.

MRE project manager Alida Lewis said: “MRE has worked with GE previously on the Merkur offshore wind farm and our work on Saint Nazaire offshore wind farm is a fantastic opportunity to build on our existing relationship and be involved in France’s first offshore wind farm.”
Saint Nazaire is located between 12km and 20km off the coast of France and will comprise of 80 GE Haliade 150-6MW turbines.
