Masdar is considering investing in a 1.5GW portfolio of offshore projects in Europe.
The Abu Dhabi renewable energy company employed German consultancy 8.2 Consulting as technical advisor for due diligence services on the potential investments.
8.2 Consulting said it was “glad to have supported Masdar with its expert team during the assessment of the projects”.
Masdar already holds a 20% stake in the 630MW London Array and a 35% interest in the 402MW Dudgeon offshore wind farms.
