Chinese turbine maker Ming Yang Smart Energy Group and utility China Three Gorges Corporation have signed a framework agreement regarding offshore wind.
The offshore wind power framework cooperation agreement was signed in Beijing, in a ceremony attended by Ming Yang chief executive and chairman Zhang Chuanwei and Wang Lin, the deputy secretary and general manager of China Three Gorges.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the two companies had held in-depth talks and evaluated a strategic partnership.
Under the agreement Ming Yang and China Three Gorges said they will continue “to deepen the multi-channel, multi-domain and multi-level in-depth cooperation in offshore wind power based on the principles of complementary advantages, market leadership, and mutual benefit”.
As well as offshore wind power, the agreement also covers onshore wind power, as well technological innovation.
