Nordex has sealed two deals totalling 148MW with utility Central Puerto for wind farms in Argentina, its first contracts in the South American country.
The German manufacturer will supply and install 32 AW125/3000 turbines for the La Castellana project, and 15 of the same model for the Archiras facility.
Construction is set to start in the fourth quarter of 2017, with completion expected in summer 2018.
Nordex said the contracts are the result of the first renewables tender in Argentina last October, when the government awarded contracts totalling more than 1.1GW.
