Ofgem has chosen Diamond Transmission Partners as the preferred bidder to own and operate the HV transmission link for Innogy’s 353MW Galloper wind farm east England.
The OFTO will take control of the project’s assets for a 20-year period and is expected to pay around £329.1m for the hardware, Ofgem said.

The electricity regulator said it will publish a final transfer value for the transmission assets at a later date.
Mari Energy Transmission was the reserve bidder for the project, which was fully commissioned earlier this year.
Galloper features 56 Siemens Gamesa 6.3MW turbines.
