OMS International, a subsidiary of Offshore Marine Management Holdings, has entered the Taiwanese offshore wind market.
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Alliance Energy in order to provide subsea operational project support and operations and maintenance services within the growing Taiwanese market.
OMS International Taiwan CEO Koh Meng Guan has more than 35 years’ experience in both the offshore oil and gas and wind farm construction services industries.
OMMH chief executive Rob Grimmond said: “We are happy to announce OMSi will be starting our Offshore Services business in Taiwan with our local partner, Alliance Energy.
We aim to be an active participant in this growing market and are confident in providing developers in Taiwan qualified and outstanding services, based on our offshore experience, to help the Taiwanese government achieve its goal in boosting wind power generation capacity by 15GW between 2026 and 2035.”
