Orsted has appointed international law firm Pinsent Masons to its new German advisory panel.
The Danish offshore wind developer operates three projects in the German North Sea and plans to expand its capacities in northern Europe to 6.7GW within the next few years, according to Pinsent Masons.
The law firm will support Orsted’s “customer solutions” activities in Germany in the areas of commodities and energy trading.
Pinsent Masons head of German energy Thorsten Volz said: “Orsted is a long-standing client of Pinsent Masons’ UK practice.
“This panel appointment is a great success for the firm and underlines the success of its German energy law practice…
“Thanks to our excellent positioning in the field of energy law, we are able to advise on all energy, corporate, contract and regulatory issues.”
