Danish energy company Orsted has awarded a contract to compatriot company Systematic to provide an offshore management system.
The system aims to give Orsted one solution to coordinate, monitor and supervise activities at sea across multiple wind farms.

Support will also be given by the system to health, safety and environment, regulatory and authority requirements and knowledge harvesting.
The main users will be marine and helicopter coordinators and offshore, logistics management staff, according to the contract documents.
Orsted will use the system globally in Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific, the document said.
