Orsted has completed turbine foundation installation works at the 12MW Coastal Virginia offshore wind project, being developed by Dominion Energy in US federal waters.
Two 6MW Siemens Gamesa turbines will be installed on the foundations later this month.

The first foundation was safely and successfully installed on the ocean floor on 25 May, followed by a second on 30 May.
Meanwhile, survey work is now underway for Dominion’s large-scale 2.6GW offshore wind farm in the adjacent Virginia Wind Energy Area.
The project will help create a domestic supply chain anchored in Hampton Roads, which will ultimately lower the costs of offshore wind development, said Dominion.
