Otary is seeking engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractors for cabling at the up to 266MW Mermaid and 246MW Seastar offshore wind farms off the coast of Belgium.
The work would include design, supply, offshore installation, testing and commissioning of 225kV XLPE cable of 18.5km in length for Mermaid and 6.5km for Seastar.
It would also cover connection between HV substations and the Belgian modular offshore grid.
Otary is also seeking companies to design, supply, install, test and commission HV substation technology, including substructures, for the two wind farms.
All the contracts would last 30 months, and include the possibility of maintenance “for a period to be further specified in the procurement documents”.
Interested parties have until 5pm local time on 28 November to apply.
The start of award procedures is 18 December.
