Consultancy OWC has opened an office in Pembrokeshire, Wales, to support its growth for Celtic Sea floating wind ahead of the R5 leasing round.
OWC’s head of environment and consents Lara Lawrie (pictured) said: “We are committed to supporting the development of the Celtic Sea through both test and demonstration projects as well as the Crown Estate’s leasing round 5.
“Having feet on the ground brings us even closer to the projects and the local businesses and societies that benefit from them.”
Lawrie will head up the new Pembrokeshire office, bringing her particular expertise in environment and consenting support to clients, as well as her many years of experience in supporting offshore wind development in the UK, including the Erebus Floating Offshore Wind project.
