Offshore Wind Consultants (OWC) has signed a framework agreement with Iberdrola to provide engineering and project management services for several wind farm projects off the coast of East Anglia in the UK.
Under the terms of the deal, OWC will provide engineering consultancy services for the East Anglia 1, East Anglia 1 North and East Anglia 3 offshore wind farms, as well as project management services for EA1.
OWC said the scope of the work for EA1 includes a construction readiness assessment, specialist consultancy, production of technical reports and drafting of construction procedures and other documents.
There is also the potential to add additional support services through the life cycle of the project, the company said.
OWC managing director Ian Bonnon said: “OWC is already providing geotechnical ancillary services on the East Anglia 1 project.
“To be trusted with additional work is testament to the benefits of the excellent working relationship that the OWC team has built with this important client and we are looking forward to supporting Iberdrola on these future wind farm projects.”
