Dutch pension fund PGGM has increased its stake in the 367MW Walney offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea.
The fund now owns 24.8% of the project having boosted its interest with the acquisition of 9.9% from the Ampere Equity Fund that is managed by DIF.

Other investors in Walney are Orsted 50.1% and SSE 25.1%.
The wind farm has been operational since 2012 and features 102 Siemens Gamesa turbines.
