The examination has been completed for Dong Energy’s 1.8GW Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm, which is planed to be located off the Yorkshire coast.
The Planning Authority now has three months to consider the project before making a recommendation to the Secretary of State.
The Secretary of State will then have a further three months to make their decision.
The 360-turbine plan for Hornsea 2 is the second offshore wind farm for the Hornsea Round 3 Zone, following the consented 1.2GW Hornsea 1 project.
