Germany’s PNE is reportedly seeking approval from the Vietnamese government to develop a 2GW offshore wind farm in the country.
If licensed, the company would develop the $4.6bn wind farm in Binh Dinh province in central Vietnam, the province’s Department of Planning and Investment told Reuters.

PNE chief executive Per Hornung Pedersen visited the province on Tuesday and worked with local authorities on ways to move the project ahead, the new agency said.
