The Polish Ministry of Climate and Environment has opened a public consultation on a draft regulation on the requirements for transmitting power from offshore wind farms to the country’s grid.
Consultation is open for 14 days from the date of publication, which was 21 May.

The draft regulation sets out the requirements for all aspects of transmission from offshore, including substations, export cables and telecommunications devices and systems, as well as operational procedures and inspections.
It aims to ensure that the hardware used to transmit power from projects meets with the requirements of the country’s offshore wind act.
