Energy technology services provider Proserv is the newest tenant to move into offices at the OrbisEnergy renewables hub in Lowestoft, as part of the former’s growing activity in offshore wind.
Proserve Renewables general manager Paul Cook said the move shows the company’s “clear commitment” to the clean power sector, having already a well-known presence in oil and gas.
“Offshore wind is a crucial market for Proserv and being based at OrbisEnergy will ensure that we are well positioned to provide a fully integrated and seamless service to offshore wind operators and service companies,” he said.
Cook (pictured, left) added that the new location will allow the company to “further build on our capabilities and presence in renewables, not just in the East of England, but across the globe”.
OrbisEnergy centre coordinator Angela Grey (pictured, right) said: “Proserv is an exciting firm that offers innovative solutions to technical challenges. This is just the calibre of business that we welcome to our renewables hub.
“We offer our clients facilities that support their business, but OrbisEnergy is much more than that. As a hub for the renewables sector, the quality of our tenants is a huge part of our offering.”
