Italian developer Renexia has reached financial close at its 30MW Taranto nearshore project of the coast of Puglia, southern Italy.
The developer secured €82m in project financing from French corporate investment bank Natixis.

The Taranto project is the first offshore wind development in Italy and is due online by August 2020.
The wind farm is located in Taranto’s outer harbour at water depths of between four and 18 metres.
The Ionian Sea project will feature 10 Senvion 3MW turbines with hub-heights of 100 metres.
Hardware will be mounted on monopile foundations.
