Energinet.dk has kicked off repairs on the export cable for Dong’s 400MW Anholt wind farm off Denmark.
The transmission operator is replacing two sections of wire off northeast Jutland in order to avoid a potential fault identified by manufacturer NKT.
One section is around 400 metres long near the onshore landing in Grenaa while the second is 4km in length near the Anholt offshore substation.
Energinet.dk said it is too early to indicate when repairs will be complete.
Anholt was offline earlier this year to repair a similar problem on a separate section of cable.
