The Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult has hired UK outfit RES for operations and maintenance services for its met mast off Blyth in north-east England.
The work scope includes 24/7 remote operations, project and data management and offshore logistics for the met mast (pictured).
The arrangement follows a previous three-year contract in which RES provided O&M services for the ORE Catapult anemometer hub.
ORE Catapult head of projects and assets Graham Campbell said: “We look forward to continuing our relationship with RES, ensuring that the operations and maintenance activities carried out at our met mast are of a consistently high standard.”
