Remote operated vehicle (ROV) survey operations at the 576MW Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm in the Irish Sea have commenced.
The purpose of the survey is to determine the risk of cable exposure within the wind farm site.

Crew transfer vessel Captain P is undertaking the ROV operations. The vessel will be connected to the ROV via an umbilical cable.
RWE operates the £2bn Gwynt y Mor offshore wind farm, which is located approximately 15km off the north coast of Wales.
The wind farm comprises 160 wind turbines and two offshore substation platforms.
The substations are connected onshore by four 20km subsea export cables.
