First Marine Solutions has bought £5m worth of mooring equipment from Interocean Marine Services as part of a new partnership between the Aberdeen-based services companies.
The deal will help the merged entity, called FMS Interocean, offer a more complete package of mooring services to developers in both the oil and gas and renewables sectors by expanding its combined inventory value to £40m, the companies said.
“The alliance with FMS was a logical step to take as we recognise what our clients want and need to support future requirements in this ever changing and competitive market,” Interocean CEO Keith Nelson said.
